DESCRIPTION:Kinship Caregiver Connection group is a safe place to talk about daily struggles\, tips on navigating local resources\, and get peer support from other kinship caregivers. A kinship caregiver is a family member or close family friend who steps in to raise a child when the child’s parents are unable to care for them. Caring for a relative’s child can be immensely fulfilling\, yet it presents its own set of challenges. You do not have to face this journey alone. Come to our monthly group share personal experiences\, learn practical caregiving skills\, and connect with helpful community resources.
