DESCRIPTION:Coffee & Conversation\nJoin us in the NEW Avenue A space with other older adults for coffee\, tea\, treats\, and friendly conversation. Everyone is welcome—come to connect\, relax\, and enjoy time together. \n\nOptional Conversation: Death & Dying\nWith Carol Lunan (The Grapevine) \nIn February\, Carol Lunan from The Grapevine will join us during Coffee & Conversation for an optional\, supportive discussion about thoughts and feelings around death and dying. The goal of this conversation is to listen and learn more about what kinds of grief support may be helpful in our community. \nThis discussion will take place in a private space at The Grapevine. Participation is completely optional. If you prefer not to join\, you are welcome to stay in the main room and enjoy our regular Coffee & Conversation time. \n\nAdvance Directives Support\nKaren will be available to talk about Advance Directives for anyone who has not yet completed one. An Advance Directive is a document—usually kept on file with your doctor—that outlines your healthcare wishes in situations where you are unable to speak for yourself. \nKaren has the necessary forms and is a notary. If you’d like help completing your Advance Directive\, we can do this together in the office.
