Teresa Bohorquez
Director of Family Supports & Services
Hi, I am Teresa and I first came to the Grapevine as a parent with my youngest shortly after I moved to the area, over 10 years ago. I have been a better mother because of my time here, and I hope to continue to grow while working here and helping others on their parenting journey. I am so excited to be a part of the team as the new Director of Family Support and Services.
In my role, I am responsible for overseeing the family support programs, connecting with the community, and ensuring our services meet the needs of local families. My previous career has focused on a combination of working with and on behalf of families, children, and neurodivergent individuals. I am passionate about creating supportive environments where children can thrive and parents can feel empowered.
I hold a Master’s in Psychology Child Development, a Bachelor’s in Psychology Liberal Arts, and two Associate degrees in Psychology and Business Administration. I have spent my career focusing on how to support families and children in a way that builds strong communities. When I’m not at the Grapevine, I love to be outdoors kayaking and hiking, or sitting by a campfire with my two kids. I also enjoy spending time with animals, taking care of my plants, and admiring interesting rocks.
